The sun is high the day still hot To not use it up I’d missed a lot Stopped for a chat just here and there Lots of of people who really care They pass the time as we trot along Had a good day its the usual chat Stopped for coffee a drink that’s long Then back we go there is no-race Some we pass they are like me All alone but out for a walk to face The memories around us all in place Then it’s time to head back for tea As the sun goes down memories free It’s just us two, you in spirit and only me Ken Robinson Seaford prom 05/05/2023
