Tomorrow is Saint Valentine’s Day We exchanged cards in the usual way Expressing our love as we used to say But now it is a memory so hard to bear And remember when they said to me Sorry to tell you, the diagnosis is MND You kept your smile but only to ease The very disappointing fright for me You continued to smile all way through To give confidence to your family too And now seven years on, Valentine’s Day I hate to say, is a dreadful thought to say It reminds of that loving wife and I PARTING WAYS in 2014 on day 22 of July Ken Robinson 13/02/2021
